Julia Low

Dr. Julia Low is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University, Australia.  As a researcher with a multidisciplinary background in psychology and nutrition, Julia focuses on the links between individual variation in human perception and dietary intake. Her research includes measuring consumer emotional responses to food, understanding psychological factors affecting food choice and variation across the lifespan, and designing digital tools to better understand these factors. Currently building her own team, Julia's primary interest is in understanding individual variation in flavor perception for people in psychologically challenging environments, such as space conditions and analogues.
