Best Oral Presentation of the Sensometrics Session

Awarded by The Sensometrics Society

Award: €1,000 to be transferred to the winner after the conference plus complimentary conference registration to the Sensometrics Conference 2026, that will take place in Valencia Spain and an invitation to give an oral presentation at the conference.

The Sensometrics Society is an association established in 1992 with the objective of increasing awareness that the field of sensory and consumer science requires its own specialized methodology and statistical methods. The Society also aims to enhance communication and cooperation among individuals interested in the scientific principles, methods, and applications of sensometrics.

The Sensometrics Society organizes an international conference, the Sensometrics Conference, every two years to disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of sensometrics.

For the first time in its history, the Sensometrics Society is presenting an award for the best oral presentation in the field of Sensometrics & Data Science. To be eligible, the presenter must be part of the Sensometric Oral Session at Pangborn. The winner will be selected through public voting via the conference app.

Best Poster Award by an Early Career Researcher

The European Sensory Network (ESN) is a dynamic collaboration of 42 partners dedicated to advancing sensory and consumer science. Our network brings together universities, research institutes, service companies, and industries, all committed to pioneering research in this ever-evolving field. Among our members are also experts in software development, AI, and statistics. Twice a year, we come together to connect, collaborate, and initiate new research projects.

Today, we are delighted to present the award for the best poster by an Early Career Researcher. This recognition comes with a cash prize of  €1000 and a paid invitation to our next ESN meeting, which will take place during the Pangborn meeting in 2025.
