Carlos Gómez–Corona

Carlos Gómez–Corona has conducted research across academia and industry and has taught extensively in sensory and consumer science. His publications center on consumption experiences, product perception, social responsibility, and under-represented populations in Sensory & Consumer Research

He holds a master’s degree in Sensory & Consumer Research from the University of Burgundy, followed by a PhD in Consumer Research. Awarded with the Rose Marie Pangborn Sensory Science Scholarship in 2014, and recently as the Food Quality and Preference – Researcher of the Future in 2025.

Editorial board member of Food Research International, and Food Quality and Preference. Associate Editor at Food Research International. Since 2020 he serves as the Chairman of the Sensometric Society, and Secretary of European Sensory Network.
