Viviana Escamilla, MBSense, Mexico

Viviana holds a degree in Food Chemistry and an MBA in Organizational Studies. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies, focusing on the intersection of sensory science, organizational culture, and the social construction of taste. She is also certified in instructional design and professional training.
She is a founding member and secretary of the Mexican Association of Sensory and Consumer Sciences, promoting collaboration among academia and industry across Mexico and Latin America.
Her expertise spans sensory science and consumer research throughout the product life cycle in the food, personal care, home care, and pet care industries. She has led sensory and consumer research projects for national and multinational companies and currently works as an independent strategic consultant. In addition, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, bridging scientific research with practical applications to support innovation, consumer understanding, and evidence-based decision-making.
