Julieta Domínguez Soberanes

Julieta Domínguez Soberanes is a professional with a strong background in research, innovation, and technological development, particularly in the agrifood and sustainability sectors. She specializes in Sensory Science, applying evaluation methodologies to understand consumer behavior, assess food quality, and support the development of innovative products. She has contributed to multidisciplinary projects across academia and industry, integrating food science, technology, supply chains, and emerging technologies to generate both scientific knowledge and practical solutions. Her work focuses on fermented foods, food safety, and probiotic potential, and she has participated in international collaborations connecting Mexico with Latin America, Europe, and North America.

She also has experience in technological portfolio analysis, intellectual property development, and identifying innovation opportunities across academic and industrial settings, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer needs. Beyond research, she has led academic initiatives, developed educational materials, and fostered collaboration among universities, research centers, and industry stakeholders. She contributes to projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and promotes women’s participation in engineering and technology, supporting capacity building and community development.
