Scientific Committee

John Castura is a Research Fellow at Compusense Inc., a global leader in sensory evaluation software and best practices. His research focuses on method development, validation, and statistical analyses. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed journal Food Quality and Preference. He chairs the Canadian mirroring committee of ISO/TC 34/SC 12 Sensory Evaluation and the Sensory Claims Substantiation workgroup of ASTM Committee E18 Sensory Evaluation. He is a past chair of the Sensometric Society.
