Armand Cardello

Dr. Cardello is a Sensory and Consumer Psychologist and recently-retired Emeritus Senior Scientist at the U.S. Army Natick RD&E Center. He is a research consultant, Editor of Food Quality & Preference, Editorial Board member of Journal of Sensory Studies and Fellow of the Eastern Psychological Association. He is a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Maine, Advisory Board Member for the U.C. Davis Sensory and Consumer Sciences Certificate Program, and has authored over 200 scientific publications on taste and texture psychophysics, sensory analysis of foods and textiles, hedonics, satisfaction, comfort, expectations, and emotions. Dr. Cardello is a Director of the Pangborn Sensory Science Trust, has been a member of the Pangborn Conference Committee since 2003 and Co-Chaired the 5th Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium in Boston, MA (USA).
