Directions and Parking information:

RI Convention Center’s main entrance is located on Sabin Street. The exhibition halls on the 3rd floor can also be reached via the Omni Hotel Connector, which can entered from the Omni Hotel or the North Garage, level 4 East.

Travel information

Delegates have multiple airport options for the conference: TF Green / Providence (PVD), Boston / Logan (BOS), or Kennedy International (JFK).

TF Green (PVD) – 13 miles

To get from TF Green to the convention center, delegates have 3 options.

The MBTA Purple Line has an airport station at TF Green. The trip to the city center rail station (1/4 mile from the convention center) is 16 minutes nonstop, and costs approximately $4. Delegates are cautioned to check the Commuter Rail schedule online at mbta.com, as trains can be infrequent during off peak times.

Uber is widely used in Rhode Island, and costs approximately $15 for a ride to the city center. The trip can take 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic.

Commercial taxis are available at the airport taxi stand. The fair can be ~$40 and the trip takes 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic.

Logan International Airport (BOS) – 53 miles

To get from to the convention center from Boston, delegates have multiple rail options. The MBTA Silver Line runs from Logan International to South Station in Boston. From South Station, delegates have a choice of the Acela High Speed Rail, Northeast Regional Amtrak, or the MBTA Purple Line Commuter Rail. Total travel time is approximately 90 to 120 minutes.

Acela High Speed and Northeast Regional schedules and fares can be found online at Amtrak.com. Regional fares cost ~15 to 30 dollars, while Acela fares are ~40 to 60 dollars.

Rental cars are also available at Logan, and the drive is approximately 75 minutes or more, depending on traffic.

JFK International Airport (JFK) – 180 miles
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) – 195 miles

International delegates may wish to fly into New York JFK or Newark Liberty in NJ and take the train (Amtrak.com). Total travel time is approximately 5 hours.
