Dr. Rosires Deliza

Dr. Rosires Deliza is a Senior Researcher at Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation) working on the Sensory and Instrumental Evaluation Lab. She has wide experience in research in Sensory & Consumer Science, having worked in collaboration with research groups from Europe, EUA and South America. Her research has focused on the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors on consumer sensory perception and liking, in particular considering emerging technologies and the exploration of the effects on wellbeing and emotions associated to food. She have published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and did several contributions to national and international conferences. She teaches at two Graduate Programs in Brazilian Universities, as well as supervises various Master and PhD theses in Sensory and Consumer Science. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Food Quality and Preference, Food Research International and Brazilian Journal of Food Technology, and Guest Editor of Food Quality and Preference (special issue, 10th Pangborn Sensory Sci. Symposium, chair of the 10th edition). She is also a Scientist of Our State, a title granted by FAPERJ (Rio de Janeiro Research Foundation) to professionals who stand out in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Linkedin: rosires-deliza-sensory
